D&D OST.
I do not hide that I am a nerd, but my passion for Dungeons and Dragons doesn’t get the spotlight too often…
But yes, I’ve been DM’ing D&D campaigns for almost a decade now, and play our current game weekly - when the BBEG that is scheduling doesn’t get in the way, that is.
As part of an assignment in University, I began to write a soundtrack for our games, and even began uploading youtube videos of the process of writing them.
Below is the list of all the songs made for my games so far - regardless of quality I have many great memories of playing them mid-session. Next to each is the short lore dump behind each song too.
Heaven’s Lament.
Before the Planar Collapse, there was only One Divine; simply dubbed "The One". In a gambit to save Draemaron from total destruction, The One sacrificed themselves and their draconic companion and threw themselves into the way of the oncoming planes. Doing this split them into several different entities, and to the wider world also killed their draconic companion.
The One's power was split into two halves, the first of which manifested into a singular being - one of rage, of storms, of jaded & misplaced anger. The other half manifested itself differently, splitting the rest of that power between more than 20 other new divines. Due to this, it took this group more than 5 extra years to manifest, so for 5 lonely years the God of The Storm's was lamenting in loneliness for what once was..
Khen Hua
A small island dedicated to the Oracle that resides there, which is where The Orb of Questioning was held - a magical item capable of answering any asked question.
The reason it ‘was’ held there is that a sect of condoned-criminals,The Beckbreakers, absconded with the item during their time - with the member under the alias ‘The Charlatan’ sequestering the item away in a hidden dungeon to use for his own purposes - and to protect it from those who would also seek to use its power.
Case of The Hollow Hopsital.
Once, the Beckbreakers happened upon a makeshift hospital; where several warriors from both side of a conflict lay in beds - horribly injured.
One side had set off an anti-magic orb, making it impossible for the healers to do their work and help either side’s wounded.
As this session was our Halloween One Shot, it was themed like a Professor Layton Themed mystery.
Terra
A large colony of Earth Elementals, Terra is a giant cityscape on the inside one of the two larger mountains on the continent of Dragonflame. Its architecture is based on the Elemental's intrinsic ability to both meld the stone around them, and themselves through stone - resulting in a menagerie of dwellings in weird places, like the walls of the hollowed out mountain interior.
Terra and its people were one of the oldest civilisations until it was one day ruthlessly attacked. They had stumbled across an evil archway buried far underground, and after a series of coincidences it was opened by accident - allowing the Blights to break through to our plane from the dimension of Limbo on the other side.
Illadrin ilses.
A snowy island devoid of all life, the Illadrin Isles are home to naught but one key structure: the Ebony Tower - an old pilgrimage spot for those who wanted to offer penance and worship to Qohenna, the Goddess of Dreams; and occasionally Loubé, the Eldritch Manifestation of Memory.
Recent explorations have noted that it used to also be a spot of worship for the Moon, too. Though those same reports also imply the Tower may have collapsed.
This place is now seen as cursed, with rumours circulating that a powerful undead - or some other evil - is residing in and desecrating the holy place. A group of Holy Warriors were once sent to check it out - yet none returned.
Halydrae, Before EPoch.
Halydrae is the Capital City of the Continent of Avalonia; the most magically advanced continent in the world of Draemaron. While the city itself has a very prominent class divide, the people itself are all well looked after and provided for.
Despite having a Royal Family, it is commonly known that the city is truly ruled by The High Courtmage Wravanna - a tempestuous and vapid sorceress capable of manipulating space and matter effortlessly. Whether or not she is magically manipulating the Royal Family is up to debate, but even she is not prepared for what is to come.
Prophecies foretold of an "Epoch of The Nigh"; a disaster of such a scale unforeseen before - but despite her eventual aid in the Waves of The Apocalypse; the continent of Avalonia still succumbed to the Planar Collapse.
The Desolate.
Before the monsters of Aetheron had settled fully into the ruins of Halydrae and remade it into their home, it was a period of unprecedented horror for the few survivors in both the higher and lower levels of the city, spending their days dodging chain devils and the like while desperately scavenging for food. Those above the ground got to keep the blessing of sunlight, but those trapped beneath the new Aetheric soil gained a different luxury - a mild degree of extra safety from the new devilish toppers of the food chain. Either way, no one knew anyone had survived the collapse; and so every waking day for them is a new hell - pun intended - with no hope of rescue.
All the survivors are lost, lonely and starving - not knowing whether the next sunrise heralds their salvation; or their untimely doom.
Halydrae, After Epoch.
The Planar Collapse was a horrifying event, as was The Epoch of The Nigh. The Epoch was 9 waves of combat straight from the layers of hell, with each one being harder than the last, that a rag-tag group of adventures tried their hardest to stop; but were not fully successful. A large slab of The Hells - later dubbed "Aetheron" - managed to break through the gaps in the planes, and careened through the sky of Draemaron; landing directly on top of The Continent of Avalonia, killing almost every inhabitant.
Due to the tiered nature of the city of Halydrae, the highest two rings poked through the new earth on top of it, and these were soon re-inhabited by demons and the like; becoming a city of infernal slavery, debauchery, and silent anguish. No-one knows if Halydrae will return to its former glory; but it certainly can't do it without help.
Sunderspear.
Sunderspear is an arid and small continent in the far north easterly quart of Draemaron. The Entire continent is like a desert, sandy and blisteringly hot; the locals having to adapt to their environment rapidly to survive.
The Continent has 3 pyramids that dominate its skyscape, each with its own fragment of a terrible eldritch being inside, guarded by unique races and terrible golems to ensure that that eldritch being

YOUR Average bard
At one point during my University Studies, I began making videos explaining how i made my music; and have left them below. While I only created a few, for anyone who is interested in the compositional process they may be interested to view still. Apologies for the webcam quality lol.
Opera Villain
This was my first video, and while i often feel like its one of the weaker of the song I created during this period, the melody I created was definitely catchy enough, as it is the main compositional component of de Léon! - which can be found in the My Releases Section!
SPEEDRUN: Mystery
For this video I added a lot of genres to a pinwheel, and spun twice to get a combination to create.
They landed on medieval and orchestral as the two, which I promise wasn’t rigged. Promise.
MArket Chase
This video was made because I was desperate to make a new video, and stumbled across the mandolin sample that is present throughout while preparing for a completely different project - the D&D OST page.
