My Music!
This page is the place I’ll be throwing the music I make for myself, unlike the work portfolio section - everything here has been made by me, for me.
Some pieces here do stem from commissions, which did not come through, and some pieces here were never intended to see the light of day. If you want to see the best of what im capable of - stick near the top, it gets REAL dicey down in the lower end.

The Song’s meaning has definitely changed over the years since its original creation back in 2019. Nowadays I believe it signifies the pressure of choice.
TDS has 3 main pianos that play throughout - each representing 1 of 3 sailors on a hypothetical sinking ship. One melody personifies a sailor giving up - succumbing to death - and another represents a sailor desperately swimming to shore. The 3rd melody represents the pressure of choice, in the 3rd sailor - torn between trying to save - or maybe join - his poor fated friend, or making a break for shore with his other.
This paralysis of choice ultimately causes the 3rd sailor to drown, stuck between two choices - and rendering that choice useless in the process.
Cheery, I know.
de léon (WIP)
De Léon is based on the main character of the Empire series by Jay Kristoff.
Volume Warning, this one’s a loud one.
The character of Gabriel de Léon; of House Esani, is a disgraced Silversaint of San Michon, and in the scene from the book I wanted to score is trying to save his (surrogate) daughter Dior Lachance from being murdered ‘for the greater good’ by his former brothers in faith & arms.
The story elements are made evident in the instruments, with the choir representing the holy people, and the flute representing Dior.
This is one of my most constantly reworked things, on-top of being my favourite piece of music i think i’ve ever written - so much so I’ve added a separate music track here just so when i come and stalk my own website I can listen to the chorus on repeat.
The third book is coming out soon, hopefully I can get the illumicrate copy of Empire of The Vampire in a few weeks when it comes out - I read the Nevernight books recently tooo - oh wait, you’ve scrolled away.
DEsert paper RPG
Sometimes I get commissioned for game types I don’t play. Sometimes I get commissioned and get sent reference tracks that are songs and media I’ve never touched. This was a commission by someone I presume was very high asking to make a rhythm / tempo game, based on the desert levels of Donkey Kong (?) - with the music progressing/changing each wave/phase.
Like a good little starving artist I did it, with ‘Rambutan’ serving as proof of concept of scaling up each of the songs I made for the project. As it was only for a University assignment, and never worked on afterwards (typical), only Rambutan was ever needed to be extended. It’s nice though, you can practically hear my sense of self dissolve the further into the Phased Rambutan you get.
Regardless, every piece has very accentuated rhythm sections - this was so the player knew when to attack / warn of incoming attacks.
I’m Confused too
Desperate to prove that concept albums are stupid (an opinion i have since grown past), i decided to write my own - the idea being a 10 song cassette tape that had been gifted by someone who passed; culminating in the bonus track 11, where (spoilers) the tape is smashed.
Each track had a certain amount of wear and cassette rewinding included to show how overplayed certain songs were, which meant a lot of fooling around with audio editing effects and plugins (I love you Cymatics Origins!). Desperate for more music for a last minute music assignment deadline, I randomly chose a project file from my Logic folder, and developed it into Dried Idun. It was originally Track 4, if i remember right.
The process of starting this EP made me fall in love with concept albums, despite the fact mine was so basic. As I never finished it, I never planned on showcasing it anywhere - but i feel it deserves a little love.
Just a little.

Ad Astra:
Space Game Soundscapes
While looking for composition jobs I saw a few positions available but for games in the sci-fi genre - which while I do play, I don’t often compose for -and so decided to have a go and making some soundscapes to be used in a hypothetical space game.
Most of these are designed to be loop-able repeatedly.
